[359] Reginald (Uncle Reg) we met occasionally - especially when he lived next door in Bloomfield Road. He always wore plus-fours. He married Doris England - I believe her family came from Marshfield but not sure of this. They had 3 children, Joan (born ?1924,) Keith (born ?1928) and Elizabeth (born ?1945 - a late surprise package). FG went to Reg and Doris's 25th Wedding Anniversary and Elizabeth was quite young. Reginald to me, seemed to go in for different businesses. I'm sure he had a grocery store in Marshfield for a while and also later ran, leased, or managed the Red Lion Hotel in Clovelly. This would have to have been in the late forties or early fifties - again I'm querying this because he should still have been in Bloomfield Road with the guest house. His wife died in the sixties and he never seemed to be himself again - this was Joan Fry's very firm opinion. I had kept in touch with Joan over the years but sadly she died in 1999. We used to exchange letters every Christmas and I last saw her in l994. Joan married Ronald Moody. She had three sons, Christopher, Paul and Peter. In her last letter she told me that she and Ron had been talking to a neighbour who had recently moved into a house at the back of them, and found he was another Fry through Grandfather's (Albert Osborne) brother. Joan lived in Penn Lea Road, Weston. (Joan Fry said it was Albert OSBORNE but when searching on the net it showed Oliver).
